Okay, so I like Green Day. They are my age and sing songs about my life growing up. I've never thought of myself as a big fan, but I hadn't seen them in concert before. They sing some fun songs with a total punk ethos. Lots of very jumpy persons. Lots of crowd surfing. Lots of great rousing refrains. My friend Mel, who used to be a roady for the band, decides to go tonight and invited me to come along. She spent most of the night in the mosh pit going crazy; I went crazy on my own. Totally fun concert. Some of the best entertainers I've seen in a while. They were energized and alive and completely fun to spend an evening with. By the way, no cameras allowed at the event, so don't tell anyone...
