Seeing Friends this Weekend

This past weekend was fun of lots of friends, visits, and great experiences. We traveled up to Davis to see our old roommates from the Presidio days, Chris, Therese, Tessie. And we spent time with their new(er) families: Kevin, Neils, and Marcus. The place was wonderful, weather perfect, and we enjoyed it immensely. Davis as a town is quite crunchy groovy. Great farmer's market on the weekend, bike-able, smallish, and friendly.
We also got to hang out with Heather, Dave and the boys on Sunday for a spell. Mansour was sick in the morning, so our picnic plans were postponed. Oh, I will be able to hang with the little man at his school in a couple of weeks. There's a take your friend to school day and I get to go -- should be fun!
For those who know Jen and Casey, they'll be trekking back to CA in July. Casey got into a masters of architecture program at California College of the Arts. It's all about financial aid now. We hope he can pull it off.
