This last few weeks has been a whirlwind of trips and hikes. Most recently, it was a school trip to the Lost Coast, about 4 hours up the coast from San Francisco. It's about the only part of the California coast that isn't developed. Looks like this pic on a good day. Most of the time we were there it was low ceiling fog. Sun broke through a couple of times. Anyhow, it was a great time. Got to know a couple of dozen kids, a few new adult leaders (including one student from my very first trip with this school who has grown up and be a wonderful new leader). Beautiful place, hard hiking (sand, rocks, pebbles, etc.), and some hilarious times.
Well, glad to have gone. And glad to have shared that with you.
