Rosie visited California x2

Julie and I had a great time with Rosie's visit to California this past few days. She is just finishing up her packing and is now reading what could be her third or fourth book this week. Just kidding, but truthfully, she has become an avid reader and storyteller of all things. For a couple of days, we were up on the Sonoma coast, camping, doing a little canoeing, and eating a lot.
Our friend who set it up, Todd, just finished the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, and several of the campers were tri people that he knew. Lots of fun.
We followed that up with a cook-out in Fairfax (Marin's little hippie bastion), a good motorcycle ride in the Berkeley hills, and a couple of movies to boot. Rosie brought Twilight (a vampirey good time) and we went to the theater to see Up, Pixar's new flick. So good to have Rosie to come out!
