Our friend and former Presidio roommate Therese Peffer was awarded her doctorate in architecture yesterday. Julie and I didn't get to go to the graduation (okay, we could have gone, but have you BEEN to one of these things before? Very long winded speakers...), but we did go to the celebration party. Therese wore her gown and little PhD hat (looks like a muffin top) for the party. Then, Therese, Nils, and little boy Marcus came over to stay with us in Oakland. It was great catching up and we now have another radically educated friend among us.
