Whoa, where have we been?

More sweating to the oldies. Old house, that is. Check out this before and after photo of the backyard under the avocado tree. Lush green grass in only one day!
While Emma seems to love the grass the most, I think the best part of the improvements lately is the automatic sliding gate. That's right, we live in a gated community. Such elitists.
But, it is so cool! Press a little button, and the gate opens. Press a little button and the gate closes. Wow.
Check out this very wonderful shot of the gate along the rail. It slides along effortlessly with a small motor on the inside. Very happy with the result. I think Julie likes it, too. Especially since she gets to park her motorcycle inside. Now we need to finish off a couple more parts of the backyard. Here are some other shots we took today (only the last nine are from today).
And, Julie's out at a triathlon today in Pacific Grove. I spoke to her yesterday after the race. She told me that it was a good race, but that her IT bands were acting up. Either way, she's amazing and did a great job! Woo hoo! Take care all! -cg
