Patio Ta-Dah!

Before hitting the road for Zion, Craig got motivated to finish the patio. I lined up the tiles and he placed and tamped them down. I think he's going to take an advil and sleep the first shift. We're thrilled to have this part of the backyard done. Next up, we're going to install the phone booth Craig brought home from the Sierra Club's Clare Tappan lodge and build a day bed off of it for reading and resting in the summer. That is, if the doggies don't smell too bad.


Next door, one of the showdogs had a litter of puppies. We are sometimes visited by tiny yelping pit bulls who have turned the space between our fences into a puppy highway. It's very cute.
