AVP is beach volleyball. Caught the tournament in SF this weekend. My bet for the best athletes in any sport. Totally strong, amazing endurance, outstanding skills. Of course, being 6'9" helps too. The guy on the left side is Dalhausser. Former Olympian and dominates the court. When he jumps, he's looking over the top of the net. Scary.
While the men's games are like insane power and speed, the women's matches are amazing as well. They go strong for hours of play. And the quality is off the charts. Volleyball is all about the pass (that's the first hit). And these guys are serving so fast and hard, and the passes are so right-on, it's a beautiful things to see. I thought I might go watch a game or two, but ended up staying all day -- wow!
