Cabinets almost done

Well, we worked the slopes of the floors, walls and such out so we knew which way they went. Then, a bit of shimming and cabinets were snugly added to the mix. They look quite nice, too. The colors are all rather earthy right now, light walls, limestone, slate floor (to be installed when we are all done on cabinets). Casey came up with an ingenious way to integrate the old ceiling into the new drywalled portions, thinning a drywall and applying it with a thick nap roller. Gives it a slight texture that let the old meld expertly with the new.
Next week, we have the countertop people come out to template the work. They should be done and installed in three weeks or so. In the meantime, we should be able to install the trim, floor, finish electrical, run the drainline for the sink, and finish the laundry area.
